The workshop

About PetTrail Supply

PetTrail Supply is the export arm of a pet-gear workshop in north China. Webbing is cut and printed here, harnesses and leashes are stitched here, the hardware is fitted here, and the cartons are sealed and marked here. Buyers deal with the people who make the goods, not with a trading desk that forwards messages.

Cutting, stitching and packing do not travel between sites

A change of hardware, a corrected colour or a re-cut strap is handled by the same team that quoted the order. That is the difference between asking a factory to fix something and asking a middleman to ask a factory to fix something. The photographs below are of the racking, the cutting stock and the sample room we work from.

Production

Five steps, one floor

Every order moves through the same sequence. Nothing is subcontracted out, so the strap you approve on a sample is cut on the same tables that cut the production run.

01Webbing cut

Straps slit to width and cut to length per order, from 6 mm to 25 mm.

02Print or weave

Silk-screen print, heat transfer or jacquard webbing made to your artwork.

03Stitch

Edge binding, box-X stitching and bar-tacks on the same floor as cutting.

04Hardware

Side-release buckles, D-rings, swivel hooks and steel-wire cores fitted and pull-tested.

05Pack and mark

Polybag, header card or retail box, then export carton with your shipping marks.

What we need from you to quote

Pet gear goes wrong at the details: the wrong hardware finish, a print that sits 5 mm off centre, a carton mark your customs broker rejects. The table lists what we run and the input we need for each line. Send the right-hand column with your enquiry and the quotation comes back in one pass instead of five.

Working with buyers

Specification first, then production

Every product page lists material, strap width, packing and carton data, so your freight calculation starts from real numbers. Webbing colour, width, hardware finish, woven and printed logo labels and retail cards are confirmed in writing per order. Stitching, hardware and label accuracy are checked before cartons are sealed.
